Celebrating Childhood at 'Lottie Day' in Arnotts, Dublin

Team Lottie were lucky enough to met some of their Irish fans and friends on Saturday (the 12th of November)

We celebrated 'Lottie Day' which was a day of Lottie and Finn themed fun in Arnotts Childrenswear Department, Dublin. Girls and boys joined in on the activities and it was a day full of laughter, adventure and family fun for all!

 Lottie Dolls welcomed girls and boys, families, fans and friends to join them on their ‘Lottie Day’ in collaboration with Arnotts Childrenswear department last Saturday, to celebrate the launch of Forest Friend Lottie – with special guests Lottie Ryan and Kellie Kearney from My Little Babog Blog!

The company behind Lottie and Finn, Arklu invited families to attend a day of Lottie and Finn inspired adventures in Arnotts. Girls and boys from all over Dublin came to support the Donegal-based start-up on their mission to promote childhood, inclusivity and empowerment. Arklu are the Irish makers of the award-winning Lottie and Finn dolls, dolls based on characters who are 9 years of age, designed to look like kids, for kids. Lottie Dolls hosted a ‘Design Your Dream Doll’ colouring corner in Arnotts Childrenswear department on the day. Arklu will select one winner on Friday the 18th of November, the winning child will see their creation become a reality, as a fully packaged doll ready in time for Christmas, which fits with the relatable values of Lottie and Finn and ties in with the brands popular crowdsourced design competitions.

Kellie Kearney of My Little Babog Blog joined Lottie Ryan in storytelling and hosting activities on the day. Hosts and attendees participated in the ‘Where’s Lottie? Arnotts Treasure Hunt’ – which was an in-store scavenger hunt for children, and a successful activity to allow children to learn about Lottie and Finn, through play and adventure.

 RTE 2fm Presenter & Lottie Day Special Guest – Lottie Ryan on Lottie Day;

“Lottie and Finn are not like any other doll around at the moment, all about kids embracing childhood, embracing what makes you unique, and I just think that that is an incredibly important message to be sending to young kids, Lottie’s based on a normal nine-year-old child, just being herself!”

Arklu were delighted to launch Lottie and Finn’s new home in Arnotts Childrenswear department. The Arnotts Childrenswear buying team are enthusiastic and passionate about Lottie and Finn and their brand values, which perfectly align with the family values of Arnotts Department Store.

 Lovely Lottie and Finn fans!
