Why STEM Projects are Perfect for Kids
There’s no doubt that STEM –– science, technology, engineering and math –– is the wave of the next generation. Actually, we’re all engaged in it right now, whether we’re using our cell phones, cooking on a stove or turning on a kitchen light.
That’s why STEM activities are awesome for children. Kids use their minds, creativity and sometimes their hands to discover how cool tech really is. That means it sinks in, because experts agree that play is the best way to teach children something new.
And that’s more important now than ever. With students home right now in unprecedented numbers, parents are on the search for activities that keep kids in the educational loop. Bonus: they’re a great switch-up from other daily activities you have on your at-home agenda.
Watch a seed grow, color real flowers from the inside out and pierce a balloon without popping it. It’s pretty amazing how much a child can learn from everyday items you probably already have around the house.
How to Get Started
